Christian Shame and Abortion

I don’t support abortion. There is no reason that is a good reason for abortion. That is my stance and I am not going to change it.

I share my stance because that is my right. You might disagree with me. At least one of you will. That is your right.

Abortion is about a woman’s right to do what every she wants to the child she is caring. God and the government have both given her that right.

The difference is God doesn’t want her to do it.

Freewill translates into us being able to make the wrong choice when we want to. There are consequences to our actions, but we are free to make them and that won’t change.

This issue is such a large issue that the Church can’t even agree to a stance on it. Denominations either don’t support it, support it some of the time, or say let the woman decide to do what she wants. Christian shame places fear in the hearts of people who don’t want to be accused of oppression others. Crimes of the past in the name of Christianity has left a bad taste in the mouth of people so Christians are afraid to be labeled as one.

I am not going to ask any one to choose if it is right or wrong to have an abortion. Makes it easier on you.

I am asking would you pay for someone to get one. Let your money vote your conscience on this issue.

President Obama signed legislation that uses our tax money to pay for abortions. It was such a concern to him that he signed it within the first week of being in office. Economic issues aside, killing babies takes precedence.

We are being forced to support the act of abortion by government spending decisions. Equal federal money is not being spent to educate people on the effects of an abortion on the woman. The difference in money spent gives a clear indication that the government supports abortion.

Should the government really take a side on this issue or just bow of it completely?

Let pro-life people put up the money to educate people on alternatives to abortion and let pro-choice people pay for abortions out of there own pocket. My feeling is that when people have to make a choice, there will be less people claiming to be pro-choice.

You are so right that the government supports abortion. Obama supports abortion. He, however, wants you and me to foot the bill. What I find the saddest about American politics today is the intellectual dishonesty of those on the left. They have one standard for themselves and what they want in the way of freedoms and a totally different standard for conservatives, especially Christian conservatives.

I believe that soon and very soon the Lord will return and those on the left will then see the truth. Sadly, however, it will be too late.
