Grandmother and grandson to have child together

Pearl Carter and Phil Bailey, 26, have paid a surrogate mother £20,000 to have Mr Bailey’s child, which the couple plan to bring up together.

Mrs Carter, from Indiana, met Mr Bailey four years ago after he tracked her down following the death of his mother, Lynette.

Mrs Carter fell pregnant with Lynette at 18, out of wedlock, and claims that she was forced to give her child up for adoption by her strict Catholic parents.

She went on to marry, but never had any more children.

The couple, who claim to be abused in public and could face prison for incest, say that they fell in love and became lovers soon after meeting.

In an interview with the New Zealand magazine, New Idea, Mrs Carter, said: “I’m not interested in anyone else’s opinion.

“I am in love with Phil and he’s in love with me. Soon I’ll be holding my son or daughter in my arms and Phil will be the proud dad.”

You can read the rest of the story here. This is not the only case either.

So is incest wrong when both parties are willing participants?

Everything you do should be done in love. (1Co 16:14)

This verse has been used many times to justify homosexual relationships. If love exists, then it cant be wrong. Isn’t that what Paul tells us? So incest between a grandmother and her grandson is no more wrong that two men or two women having an intimate relationship. This is the direction society is moving in and it is OK since love is involved.

  1. Wait… I’m confused?
Are you saying you’re okay with this? As in, you see no wrong with what they’re doing/did?
Since culture is moving this way, and they’re “in love” then they ought to be allowed to continue on as they wish?
I’m not sure if you’re mocking the idiocracy of this whole deal, being sarcastic in your statements, or really approve of this. Could you please clarify for me?

My comments are made in sarcasm.

We are coming to a point where the same tactics that gay activist have used to convince us that the homosexual life style is not wrong and upholds the higher meaning of the Bible (love each other and if it is based on love then it is not wrong), is being used in order to justify incest.

As society was worn down and could not find a problem with the gay activist logic, the same will happen with adults who are in an relationship with their parents/children. That is power of love when it is taken out of a godly context and used based upon the understanding of the world.

      Sorry for the confusion.
